Armstrong to Speak at Annual North American Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference
August 28, 2017 – James Armstrong, founder and president of Armstrong Investment Research will speak at this year’s North American Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference, October 11-13 in Chicago.
Following the publication of his A.I.R. note, What Happens to Box Demand if E Commerce Grows to 30% of Retail by 2030, Armstrong was invited to speak as part of the conference’s Friday morning panel presentation, “E Commerce and Recycling.”
As traditional retail outlets close and distribution changes with a growing interest in e-commerce, recycling markets from OCC to plastics are already being affected. The panel will discuss how players in the industry, including packaging/mills and MRF operators are handling the change.
Joining Armstrong on the four-person panel are Mick Barry, president of Mid-America Recycling, Myles Cohen, president of Pratt Recycling and moderator Bill Moore, president of Moore & Associates.
Conference registration is now open. Armstrong will speak Friday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time.
